Yes, moths do fly in the rain

We had a moth trap last night but also a bit of a downpour in the early hours. Moths do fly in the rain but the smaller ones can be wiped out by it. We had to rescue the trap and put it in the garage where we had a few escapees but in amongst them all were these few beauties:
